First go at inking with Manga Studios 5 - colors and comped in Photoshop. Quite like what they’ve done with Manga Studio 5. The vector stuff is now a lot more like Sai which is a good thing and the rest of it is very Photoshop. I’d easily recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to Photoshop especially if you want to draw comics.

Glad you gave Manga Studio 5 a try. Really great program.
I think you could achive the same (or even better) results for coloring and compositing with it too, it has enough features for this.
I'd love to see more of your works done with it (your later ones lack MS5 in description, so can't be sure about them)

Yeah I'm very happy with Manga Studio 5 - it's way better than 4. I'm using it mostly for pencils and ink and then coloring in Photoshop because I've got some nice plug ins to make coloring quicker. It's definitely worth the tiny asking price and I heartily recommend it to everyone.

Yup, I was amazed by the difference between 4 and 5 versions. The new one is just so much more attractive visually and comfortable to work with. New drawing possibilities are huge.
And I totally agree about the price being tiny. I couldn't even believe they were asking so little for such great features. Can't even imagine what's Manga Studio 5 EX will be capable of.

Pretty tight dude!

I was trying out Manga Studio 4 demo out the other day....I find its brush tools difficult to get used to and have so far failed to find a way to resize an image. How much better is 5?

4 is really clunky. 5 is nice and polished.

To rescale a page you want Story | Change page format guide (Selected) I think

Much easier to do that stuff in 5
